Whether it’s a barbecue, pool party, fireworks, or other family activity, there is lots to choose from here in York County. Listed below are a few things to do this 4th of July:
Fireworks at the Buster Boyd Bridge in Lake Wylie on July 4th, 2019
Watch by land or by sea anywhere with a view of the Buster Boyd Bridge in Lake Wylie. Fireworks will begin at dusk. Those watching on land are urged to stake out a spot at Lake Wylie Plaza by late afternoon as parking is prohibited along NC Highway 49 near the bridge. The show is free but run completely by donations. Donations can be made to the Camp Thunderbird Fireworks Fund at One Thunderbird Lane, Lake Wylie, SC 29710
Fireworks at York Comprehensive High School in York, SC
Celebrate the 4th of July with music, food and drinks at York Comprehensive High School. The celebration is presented by The City of York from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. It is a free celebration to the public.
